INTRODUCTION

To serve management work of Manglietia glauca monoculture plantation forest, investigation was done as follows,

1. Find method to determine volume table, at the same time apply that method to determine volume table (under bark and with bark) for Manglietia glauca, in order to determine production (yield) of the forest.

2. Find method to determine table for soil classes, at the same time use that method to determine temporary table for soil classes for Manglietia glauca plantation stand.

3. Find increment rules for diameter and height of crown, breast-height diameter and height of stem to serve as a basis for determining limits in age and thinning intensity according to different management aims.

4. Find method to determine age of quantity maturity of Manglietia glauca plantation.

METHODS AND RESEARCH CONTENT

1. VOLUME TABLE

With bark and under bark volume table was determined using two factors: breast-height diameter and height of tree (D,H). In each diameter class, establish height class through collected data. Reduction factor (f1.3) was determined through correlation equation having hyperbole shape, between with bark and under bark f1.3 and reciprocal number of breast-height diameter with bark on stem.

2. SOIL CLASS TABLE

Second-level correlation equation was established between logarithmic value in average height of the highest trees in stand and logarithmic value in age of each stand.
