RESEARCH OBJECTIVES AND CONTENT:
Objectives:
- Synthesize the theoretical basis and practical experience of forest insurance worldwide;
- Review current policies related to production forests insurance;
- Identify the needs and issues related to production forest insurance in some provinces in which raw wood plantations are concentrated;
- Propose a policy framework and outline the basic steps for piloting production forest insurance.

Content 1: Synthesize the theoretical basis and world experience of forest insurance
- Theoretical basis of insurance and risk management
- Theoretical basis for forest insurance
- Document practical experiences of forest insurance from some countries around the world
Content 2: Review current policies related to production forest insurance
- Review legal documents as the legal basis for insurance implementation
- Review and analyze current agriculture insurance policies
- Review and analyze current plantation forest insurance policies
Content 3: Identify needs and issues related to production forest insurance in some provinces in which raw wood plantations are concentrated
- Current status of production forests in the studied provinces
- Synthesize and analyze forest risks and damage
- Examine the need to participate and the level of willingness to pay for insurance of organizations and households planting production forests
- Identify issues related to production forest insurance
