INTRODUCTION
Natural mixed forest plays an important role in the conservation of the life environment and is the main source of supply of woodfire logs and other forest product.
Some years ago the disappearence and deterioration of the forest greatly affected forest products, supply and degree of protection from stormy winds.
There were some technical causes, among them being mistakes in the definition of the exploited objects. The quantity exploited was greater than the increase in production. Clean cutting ruined the forests and reduced economic tree species.
The logging procedure of 1963 has not been correctly implemented since the reunification of our country. 20 years have passed with great changes in forests types of production methods, tools for production and the needs of the forest trade. These problems have been increased by a new draft of procedures with common rules for the whole nation. On this basis, the provinces and enterprise combined procedures for their own scientific task base. Despite the fact that the research documents have not been fully systematised fulfilled, we present our preliminary views for replenishing and correction of the situation.
1. Standard forest and optimal productivity in every soil condition.
Compared with the theory of standard forest in European countries, those selected as our natural specimens have many similar and many different characteristics ( especially characteristics closely connected with technical methods of logging ) and have been exploited as follows:
a.Trust combination: It is necessary to divide into common trust combination, layer trust combination and species trust combination. In this case the trust combination of the major layer ( group 1) is most important.
According to the selected target needs divide this trust combination into 3 tree species by trading categories.
