Objective
Develop sets of silvicultural techniques for natural forest rehabilitation, which can be applied under 661 Program (Rehabilitation program of Vietnamgovernment).
Experiment site
Experiment area locates in 3 communes in Hoa Binh dam (Vay Nua commune in Da Bac district, Binh Thanh and Thung Nai commune in Cao Phong district).

Each model contains 3 to 5 treatments to find out better methods for rehabilitation of natural forests. Main target tree species are; Cinnamomum parthenoxylum, Erythrophloeum fordii, Hopea odorata, Lithocarpus ducampii, Peltophorum tonkinensis, Melia azedarach, Ormosia balansae, Canarium album, and Lithocarpus fissus.
