To contribute to lengthening the service and increase the efficiency in using this specious resource, the research on the method of sap displacement for bamboo preservation has been continued, making full use of the hollow bamboo culm to hold the preservative. Details to be studied is the preservative impregnation capability and the necessary moisture threshhold of bamboo for effective bamboo treatment.
