Study on <i>acacia hybrid<\/i> plantation in Tan Lap, Binh Phuoc shows that the ratio of diseased trees in plantation of planting density 1111 trees\/ha is smaller than that in plantation of planting density 1428 trees\/ha. The disease lasts through out the raining season from July to December, ill-effecting the tree growth and sometimes breaks the trees in severe cases. Bordeaux1% can reduce the ratio of diseased trees but the effect of this fungicide does weaken with time. The use of Dethamin M-45 has not been found effective.
