Growth variance of Eucalyptus pellita in Bau Bang and Pleiku<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The families have significant difference on growth traits in all years old.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Density, pilodyn, and wood physic characteristic variance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Eucalyptus pellita at 11 years old has 584 kg\/m<sup>3<\/sup>\u00a0wood density, 4,0% shrinkage in tangential, 2,5% shrinkage in radial, 1,6 tangential\/radial ratio, modulus of rupture 195,6 MPa, modulus of elasticity 21,2 GPa.<\/p>\n<p>Provenance variance in wood density, pilodyn, wood physic characteristics are not significant difference.<\/p>\n<p>Family variance in wood physic characteristics are significant difference.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Heritability and coefficients of additive genetic variation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Heritability for growth traits in two sites (Bau Bang, Pleiku) ranged from 0,098 to 0,321 (diameter at breast height \u2013 D<sub>1,3<\/sub>), from 0,104 to 0,262 (height &#8211; H<sub>t<\/sub>), and from 0,108 to 0,328 (volume). Heritability for growth traits increased with aged. Coefficients of additive genetic variation were from 4,6 to 11,0% at height; from 4,3 to 9,7% diameter at breast height, from 10 to 23% at volume.<\/p>\n<p>Heritability for wood characteristic traits ranged from medium to high (0,33 \u2013 0,55). Coefficients of additive genetic variation for wood characteristic were high (9 \u2013 11%), and these for wood density, modulus of elasticity were low (4,5 \u2013 5%).<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Genetic correlation of traits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Genetic correlation between pilodyn (indirect) and wood density (direct) in individual and family level were high, from -0,77 to -0,82.<\/p>\n<p>Genetic correlation between partial shrinkage and total shrinkage were stability.<\/p>\n<p>Genetic correlation between growth traits at 3 to 10 years old were stability in two site.<\/p>\n<p>Genetic correlation between diameter at breast height and wood physic characteristics were low and little significance.<\/p>\n<p>Genetic correlation between wood density and shrinkage, modulus of rupture, modulus of elasticity were high significance; especial genetic correlation between shrinkage in tangential and shrinkage in radial, modulus of rupture and modulus of elasticity, pilodyn and wood density was stability.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Genetic and environment interaction about growth<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Genetic and environment interaction about growth at two sites were low, from 0,255 to 0,492; that show to breeding independence on two sites.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Prediction genetic gains<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prediction genetic gains in growth of Eucalyptus pellita at Bau Bang were higher than at Pleiku.
