The methodology complied with the national stardards of Vietnam, from TCVN 358-70 to TCVN 370-70.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<em><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">Styrax tonkinensis <\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">(Pierre) Craib ex Hardw: Wood density was very low (420 kg\/m<sup>3<\/sup>).<span>&nbsp;<\/span>Volume shrinkage coefficient was medium (0,36). Fiber saturation point was low (24%). Crushing strength, static bending resistance and<span>&nbsp; <\/span>resistance to splitting were weak (261 kg\/cm<sup>2<\/sup>, 623 kg\/cm<sup>2<\/sup> and 6 kg\/cm respectively). Impact bending coefficient was medium (0,7). Wood can be used for low-price furniture, construction as well as materials for match production or packing<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\"><span>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\"><\/span><em><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">Acacia auriculiformis<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\"> A.Cunn.: Wood density was low (597 kg\/m<sup>3<\/sup>). Volume shrinkage coefficient, crushing strength and resistance to splitting were medium (0,41, 462 kg\/cm<sup>2<\/sup> and 11 kg\/cm respectively). Static bending resistance was weak (1.009 kg\/cm<sup>2<\/sup>). Impact bending coefficient was high (1,2). Wood in large size can be used for construction or materials for art and handycraft production. Small-size wood is used for material for paper and MDF production or mine poles.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<em><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">Acacia hybrid (Acacia mangium<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\"> x <em>Acacia auriculiformis)<\/em>: Wood density was low (574 kg\/m<sup>3<\/sup>). Volume shrinkage coefficient was medium (0,39). Crushing strength and static bending resistance were weak (417 kg\/cm<sup>2<\/sup> and 1.013 kg\/cm<sup>2<\/sup> respectively). Resistance to splitting was medium (12 kg\/cm). Timber is used for materials for paper making, MDF and mine poles.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<em><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">Acacia mangium<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\"> Willd.:&nbsp;Wood density was low (586 kg\/m<sup>3<\/sup>). Volume shrinkage coefficient was medium (0,46). Crushing strength and resistance to splitting were medium (432 kg\/cm<sup>2<\/sup> and 12,7kg\/cm, respectively). Static bending resistance was weak (994 kg\/cm<sup>2<\/sup>). Timber in large sizes can be used for construction or furniture while timber in small size is used for materials for paper making, MDF and mine poles. <\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<em><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">Mangletia conifera<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\"> Dandy: Wood density was very low <span style=\"letter-spacing: -0.1pt\">(480 kg\/m<sup>3<\/sup>). <\/span>Volume shrinkage coefficient<span style=\"letter-spacing: -0.1pt\">, c<\/span>rushing strength and static bending resistance were medium <span style=\"letter-spacing: -0.1pt\">(0,43, 611 kg\/cm<sup>2<\/sup> and 1.232 kg\/cm<sup>2 <\/sup>respectively). Timber in large sizes can be used as materials for furniture, <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">h<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">orizontal lacquered board<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">, w<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">orshipping object<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">s, pencil production and mine poles. Sapwood has to be preserved before utilization.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<em><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">Canarium album Lour<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">. Raeusch: Wood density was low (590 kg\/m<sup>3<\/sup>). Volume shrinkage coefficient was medium (0,44). Crushing strength, static bending resistance and resistance to splitting were weak (347 kg\/cm<sup>2<\/sup>, 1.080 kg\/cm<sup>2<\/sup> and 5,4 kg\/cm respectively). Impact bending coefficient was rather high (0,8). Wood is used for normal construction, low-price furniture, and materials for plywood. <\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<em><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">Melia azedarach<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\"> L.: Wood density was low <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">(5<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">24 <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">kg\/m<sup>3<\/sup>). <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">Volume shrinkage coefficient was medium <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">(0,44). <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">Fiber saturation point was low <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">(22%). <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">Crushing strength and static bending resistance were weak <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">(335 kg\/cm<sup>2<\/sup><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\"> and <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">627 kg\/cm<sup>2<\/sup><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\"> respectively)<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">Resistance to splitting was medium <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">(10,5kg\/cm<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">).<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\"> <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">Impact bending coefficient was weak <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">(0,54). <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">Wood can be used as materials for normal construction, low-price furniture or farming tools.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<em><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">Dendrocalamus membranaceus<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\"> Munro: Wood density was high (842 kg\/m<sup>3<\/sup>). Volume shrinkage coefficient, crushing strength and static bending resistance were medium (0,68, 681 kg\/cm<sup>2<\/sup> and 1.349 kg\/cm<sup>2<\/sup> respectively). Tensile strength was very high (1.781 kg\/cm<sup>2<\/sup>).
