Retention of slash increased the volume growth by 7-10% depending on the amount of retained slash. At the same time, slash residues impacted and improved soil properties through increasing of Nitrogen and Organic carbon while it is considered that available phosphorus as well as exchangeable cations potassium (K), calcium (C) and magnesium (Mg) in soil declined after 3 years by using nutriment of planted trees.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<span style=\"line-height: 200%;font-family: Arial;font-size: 10pt\">Overall productivity of A. auriculiformis plantation in second rotation crop(2R) compared to the first(1R) showed those high productivity potential by slash retention.
