We stud-ied six threatened tree species in four Vietnamese protected areas: the broad-leaved <em><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">Annamocarya sinensis, Manglietia fordiana <\/span><\/em>and <em><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">Parashorea chinensis<\/span><\/em>, and the coniferous <em><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">Calocedrus macrolepis, Dacrydium elatum and Pinus kwangtunggensis. <\/span><\/em>With data from a 2-year field study on recruitment, growth and survial, we construted matrix models for each species.
