The synthesis report is designed to distill the main lessons from the work of the Patnership Task Forces, as well as the Asian Development Bank Technical Assistance ‘Study on the Policy and Institutional Framework for Forest Resources Management.’ More specifically, its purpose was to clarify the 5MHRP’s objectives and strategies; review the bottlenecks in the implementation environment, including underlying policy and institutional shortcomings and program management, and make appropriate recommendations.<\/FONT><\/FONT><\/TD>
