Designing and building a model of a stilt house and producing a set of a table and chairs by using bamboo scrimber as materials.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Designing and building a model of a stilt house of 70 m<sup>2 <\/sup><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Designing and producing a set of a table and chairs<\/p>\n<p><u>Content 5: <\/u>\u00a0Training<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Training for 3 technicians<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Training for 50 workers<\/p>\n<p><strong>SUMMARY OF RESEARCH RESULTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<ol>\n<li>Adoption of the technological for production of bamboo scrimber has been completed as follows:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&#8211; The pressing and rolling speed for making bamboo strips was 15 m\/min and the optimal wall thickness of bamboo logs for making strips was 8-9 mm.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Wood preservatives LN5 and XM5 at a concentration of 5% are very effective for bamboo strip preservation and protection against mould and colour stain.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Bamboo strips were treated at 140<sup>o<\/sup>C and for 5h for use as scrimber and 3h for use as construction and interior materials.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The treated bamboo strips were dried at 80<sup>o<\/sup>C and for 48h to achieve a moisture content of 8% &#8211; 10%.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The bamboo strips were immersed in PF glue mixed with water at ratio of 1: 1,5 for immersion of 10 mins.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Glue Impregnated bamboo strips were dried at 70<sup>o<\/sup>C for 6 h to achieve moisture content of 13% -15%.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The pressure applied to make bamboo scrimber for construction was 70 MPa and for interior material 60 MPa.<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"36\"><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&#8211; The temperature and duration for heat curing the resin curing for bamboo scrimber after cold pressing for both construction and interior materials is shown in the diagram below<\/p>\n<p>2. One bamboo scrimber production model factory with a capacity of 1500 m<sup>3<\/sup>\/year has been established and 100.5 m<sup>3<\/sup> bamboo scrimber have been produced. A stilt house of 70 m<sup>2 <\/sup>has been designed and built. A set of table and chairs has also been designed and produced.- The costs and capabilities of machines for the bamboo scrimber production model with capacity of 1500 m<sup>3 <\/sup>have been evaluated and the best machines selected.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 75 m<sup>3<\/sup> bamboo scrimber as construction materials and 30.5 m<sup>3 <\/sup>bamboo scrimber as interior materials have been manufactured.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; A stilt house of 70 m<sup>2 <\/sup>has been designed and built at BWG Joint Stock Company in Mai Chau, Hoa Binh.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; A set of table and chairs has been produced<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The value of advanced bamboo scrimeber products for construction and interior materials has been recognized.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>03 technicians and 50 workers have been trained on the procedure for manufacture of bamboo scrimber as construction and interior materials.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p><!-- \/wp:image --><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>INTRODUCTION<\/p>\n<p>Casuarina equisetifolia was introduced into Vietnam first in 1896 and in 1915, it was first planted in the coastal area of Nghe An ( Lam Cong Dinh, 1977).
